Nagina Group’s Solar Transformation
Continuing its commitment to sustainable growth and operational excellence, Nagina Group partnered with DSG Energy to deploy high-capacity solar power solutions across its three major manufacturing units. Prosperity Weaving Mills in Sheikhupura commissioned a 4,226 kW solar power plant, Ellcot Spinning Mills on Manga–Raiwind Road, Lahore integrated a 2,747 kW system, and Nagina Cotton Mills in Kotri implemented a 4,410 kW solar installation—bringing the Group’s total installed solar capacity to over 11.4 MW.
These large-scale deployments underscore Nagina Group’s dedication to clean energy adoption, long-term cost efficiency, and environmental responsibility, while highlighting DSG Energy’s expertise in delivering reliable, high-performance renewable energy solutions for industrial-scale operations.
Technological Excellence
To ensure maximum efficiency and long-term performance, Nagina Group’s solar installations are equipped with carefully selected Tier-1 solar panels aligned with each unit’s operational requirements. The projects utilize a combination of globally trusted brands such as Jinko Solar, Canadian Solar, Huasun, and Risen, chosen for their high efficiency, reliable output, low degradation rates, and strong performance in diverse weather and industrial conditions. This strategic selection ensures consistent clean-energy generation, operational stability, and long-term value across all Nagina Group facilities
Advanced Inverter Technology
Nagina Group’s solar infrastructure is powered by Huawei’s advanced inverter technology, incorporating a range of high-performance models including 50KTL, 115KTL, 150-MG0, and 330KTL inverters. This diversified inverter configuration ensures optimal energy conversion across varying load requirements while maintaining high efficiency, system stability, and intelligent energy management. Equipped with smart MPPT technology, real-time performance monitoring, advanced grid-support functions, and intelligent fault detection, these inverters enable consistent and reliable power generation across all operational units. When paired with high-efficiency solar panels, Huawei’s inverter solutions enhance overall system reliability, maximize energy yield, and support Nagina Group’s long-term sustainability goals through smooth, efficient, and resilient solar energy Production

Efficient Foundation
The solar systems installed across Nagina Group are supported by strong, roof-mounted structures engineered to ensure long-term durability and optimal energy performance. All three units—Prosperity Weaving Mills, Ellcot Spinning Mills, and Nagina Cotton Mills—utilize carefully designed mounting frameworks that provide stability, corrosion resistance, and precise panel alignment for maximum solar exposure.
The solar systems are deployed across flat roofs, inverted beam roofs, dome shell roofs, and ground-mounted installations, with structures engineered to perform reliably under demanding industrial conditions. These mounting solutions preserve the structural integrity of the facilities while enabling efficient solar energy capture throughout the day. Designed and installed by DSG Energy, the customized structural configurations ensure long-term durability, stable system performance, and minimal maintenance requirements reinforcing Nagina Group’s commitment to high-quality, resilient, and sustainable solar infrastructure.
Project Challenges
During the execution of Nagina Group’s solar installations, DSG Energy navigated several project-specific challenges that required strategic planning and precise coordination. The team worked under strict timelines, ensuring uninterrupted mill operations while maintaining the highest quality standards. Additionally, the Group’s profile as a highly demanding and detail-oriented client meant that every design, installation step, and performance benchmark had to meet exceptional expectations.
Despite these pressures, DSG Energy delivered seamless execution across all three units through meticulous planning, continuous communication, and expert on-ground management—successfully completing the projects without compromising safety, efficiency, or performance
Empowering the Future Together
The successful completion of Nagina Group’s multi-unit solar transformation reflects more than a technical achievement—it represents a shared vision for cleaner, smarter, and future-ready energy. Through this collaboration, DSG Energy has demonstrated its ability to deliver large-scale, precision-engineered solutions that align with the operational needs of leading industrial groups. From panel selection to structural design, advanced inverters to on-ground execution, every stage was carried out with a commitment to innovation, quality, and long-term performance.
This partnership showcases how DSG Energy continues to raise the benchmark for renewable energy deployment in Pakistan’s textile sector—supporting industries in reducing costs, enhancing efficiency, and embracing sustainability with confidence. Together, Nagina Group and DSG Energy are not just generating power—they are shaping a resilient, environmentally responsible energy future for the generations ahead.
