The world is progressing really fast and the energy demands and requirement, on the other hand, are progressing even at a faster rate. This shift is universal and unchangeable. In order to satisfy the global social and economic development, this incessant energy demand cannot be ignored, ranging from the basic human needs to industrial development of any country.

Sustainable development is one of the top priorities in the development and strategic plan of any country. However, with this continuous rise in the development, its negative consequences on our environment are over-whelming. CO2 levels, in the atmosphere, have been risen up to 31% in the past 200 years, in which deforestation has a major role to play. A grid-tied system of 1MW Solar Solution has been installed and commissioned equipped with the latest technology and a specially customized hot dipped- galvanized iron structure at their industry in Sheikhupura. The entire Project is ShellRoofs/ Domes based. The system contains total no. of 1852 solar panels of 540W Canadian Solar Half-Cell technology, providing the best possible efficiency to the over-all system. To make the commitment and uncompromised quality assured, 9 inverters of Huawei 100KTL were utilized. Due to complexity of the roof, this project has been designed and executed very uniquely, with specially reinforced structure involving square columns, girders and diagonal cantilever supports, with the largest span of each shell, involved. The team made sure to execute the project with utmost quality and efficiency as much as humanly possible.

Upon reviewing, it can be stated that Tariq Glass Industries, after going green, not only reduced their own electricity bill remarkably, they have also lessened the 876 million tons of carbon emission that would have polluted the air, otherwise.
