Iqbal Rice Mills 1 MW Grid Tied Solar Power Plant

A very conventional cycle of the incoming and outgoing radiation is being continuously disturbed by the consistently escalating greenhouse effect via all non-natural human activities. This disturbance is creating a havoc in all sectors including environmental, social and economic systems.

It is estimated that by 2100, the global average surface temperature will rise 1.4 to 5.8 ֯C relative to 1990 level, which apparently seems insignificant, but in actual it is going to cause a very significant disturbance in many valuable systems.

To preserve the future, this threat needs to be addressed promptly. In order to participate towards a better and greener future, Recently, Iqbal Rice Mill, one of the top Rice exporters of Pakistan took a step forward and decided to go solar. DSG Energy is honored to be a part of this green step.

A grid-tied system of 1MW Solar Solution has been installed and commissioned equipped with the latest technology and a specially customized land-based hot dipped- galvanized iron structure at their Rice Mill in Chiniot. The system contains total no. of 1860 solar panels of 540W half-cell technology, providing the best possible efficiency to the over-all system. To make the commitment and uncompromised quality sure, 9 inverters of Huawei 100KTL were utilized. The team made sure to execute the project with utmost quality and efficiency as much as humanly possible.

To wrap up the idea, Iqbal Rice Mills, when decided to go solar, not only reduced their own electricity bill to a great extent, yet also reduced the overall carbon footprint that would have emitted and polluted the air, otherwise. Also, equivalent of implanting almost 54000 trees, annually.
