Reliance Pharmaceuticals 162kW Grid Tied Solar Power Plant
The planet is warming, from North to South Pole. In the last century, the global average surface temperature has increased by 0.9֯C and even greater in sensitive polar region. The after effects of this global warming have already started emerging, everywhere. This elevating temperature is melting the glaciers and sea ice, transforming the rainfall patterns and disturbing the whole ecosystem. The human activities have been burning up the planet, since the start of industrialization, which is not going to slow down in anytime in the future, so adaptation and mitigation is the only way forward.
However, if these overwhelming evidences will remain unaddressed, it is going to be more disastrous, sea level will rise even higher, by the end of this century, natural disasters are going to be more frequent and destructive, scarcity of fresh water will be inevitable, health system will be deteriorated more and ecosystems and the habitats are going to be destroyed and it is going to be difficult for our next generation to survive.
With all these threats against survival and life, sustainability has to be the utmost priority and taken very seriously, so that the coming generations don’t have to suffer for survival. Taking proactive measures to reduce the environmental and institutional risk, is the only way forward. While doing so, increasing the planet’s resilience towards the change is utterly important. The need of new strategies, from spreading the awareness for conserving the existing resources to recycling and shifting the patterns towards renewables cannot be denied.
Reliance Pharmaceuticals, took action against this global menace and thought ahead of time by contributing towards renewable and green future, and DSG Energy feels honored to be a part of that execution. A grid-tied system of 162kW Solar Solution has been installed and commissioned equipped with the latest technology and a specially customized aluminum structure for 140kW and a special reinforced shed-based structure of 42kW at their industry in Lahore. The system contains total no. of 300 solar panels of 540W Canadian Solar Half-Cell technology, providing the best possible efficiency to the over-all system. To make the commitment and uncompromised quality assured, 2 inverters of Huawei 100KTL and 30KTL were utilized. The DSG Energy team has done a commendable job in execution of the project.
Cutting it short, Reliance Pharmaceutical’s green initiative is laudable, which is, not only, going to reduce the overall power cost, but also will be responsible for reducing the overall elevating carbon footprint from the environment.
