Pak-German Embassy Islamabad Case Study
The inevitable concern of consistently changing climate patterns is the matter that’s not affecting Pakistan only, rather it’s a global concern and needs the immediate plans of action. The unpredictable fluctuations in the global temperature have to be taken seriously more than ever, which is undoubtedly proportional to the continuously increasing GHGs, the sole reason for that is the human activities encircling towards the development of the mankind. The world needs to take strong actions in this fight, which is almost a unanimous decision.
Political relations have a great to play, towards this universal concern.
Recently, Federal Republic of Germany and Islamic Republic of Pakistan celebrated their successful diplomatic bilateral relations on October 15th 2021. On this occasion, German embassy wanted to present a very friendly gift to Pakistan and what could be a better present than a step towards a Cleaner and Greener environment?
In this regard DSG Energy Collaborated with GIZ Pakistan and German Embassy for installing Grid tied Solar Power Plant which was presented by the Ambassador of Germany, ‘’Bernhard Schlagheck’’ to foreign minister of Pakistan ‘’ Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi’’ as a gift to the ministry of Foreign affairs. DSG Energy feels proud to be a part of this project and setting up a solar plant in the heart of Islamabad in celebrating 70 years of Pak-German bilateral relations. A grid-tied system of 50kW has been commissioned, reducing 63 tons of carbon footprint, equivalent to implanting 3942 trees, annually.
Putting it in a nutshell, German Embassy made a smart move towards the celebration of their diplomatic relations and contributing to enhance the greener environment. They thought GREEN!
